Reviewing pay on the offer card

Shoppers will see one estimated pay number on the offer card so that they can best evaluate how to spend their time and work. The estimated pay number, which is calculated through Shipt’s effort-based pay model, is the pay for that particular offer. The letters “est” shown next to this number means that the pay is currently an estimate, but is the minimum pay you’re guaranteed for completing and delivering the order. The following FAQs provide more information about the offer card.

Does the offer card include promo pay, bonuses, and tips?

  • The estimated pay on the offer card reflects the guaranteed pay shoppers can expect for completing an offer. The estimated pay amount will include promo pay (if applicable) but not tips and bonuses, which will be paid separately. These tips and bonuses will continue to be shown on your weekly pay summary in your Payment History.

Will a shopper ever get paid lower than the offer card single estimate?

  • What is shown on the offer card is the minimum a shopper will get paid to complete that offer. If an order is canceled before you have started shopping, you will not be paid for that order. However, if an order is canceled while or after you shop for an order, you will still receive a percentage of the original offer payment.

Can I make more than the offer card estimate?

  • Yes, an offer can pay higher than the estimate shown on an offer card. For example, if more items were added to an order after a shopper had claimed an offer, the payout could be higher than what was originally estimated. Shoppers also have the opportunity to earn more through the potential of tips and bonus opportunities.
