2-Hour Delivery Windows

Some non-perishable retailers have 2-hour delivery windows with consecutive (Ex: 12-2 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.) or overlapping times (Ex: 12-2 p.m. and 1-3 p.m.).

In these metros, if you have not started shopping the order by 10 minutes into the 2nd hour of the delivery window, you’ll receive a push notification reminding you to begin shopping as soon as possible. For example, if you’re completing an order with a delivery window of 2-4 p.m. and haven’t started shopping by 3:10 p.m., you’ll receive the reminder. If you do not start shopping after receiving the notification, you’ll be released from the order.

How will 2-hour delivery windows impact bonuses?

  • Order eligibility for bonuses is based on the delivery window start time. For example, if you’re working towards a bonus with a timeframe of 5-8 p.m., orders will qualify if the start time of the delivery window is between 5-8 p.m.
  • In this example, an order with a delivery window of 4-6 p.m. would not count towards this bonus, but an order for 7-9 p.m. would because the start time of the delivery window is during the bonus timeframe.
  • Keep in mind that orders must  also fulfill other eligibility requirements, like on-time delivery, in order to qualify for a bonus. You can find more information about bonuses here.
