Do shoppers ask for tax exemption at checkout?
Yes. When shoppers get to the register, they can inform the cashier that they are a shopper with Shipt and that the order is tax-exempt. If the cashier is unsure of how to register the order as tax-exempt, shoppers can tell them that Shipt will be on the Accounts Receivable menu in their system.
Can shoppers use self-checkout at Rouses?
No, Rouses would like shoppers to use a checkout lane with a store attendant.
What items are prohibited?
Shoppers cannot deliver live or boiled crawfish, alcohol, tobacco, prescription/behind the counter medication, or gift cards from Rouses Market. Click here to view the full list of prohibited items for all Shipt orders.
