Delivery Windows

When a customer places their order, they'll select the delivery window in which they'd like to have it delivered. Delivery windows may start at the top of the hour (1-2 p.m.) or at the half-hour mark (1:30-2:30 p.m.). Customers may also see 2-hour delivery windows, or 4-hour delivery windows, as well as have the option to choose a priority or express delivery window for an additional fee. You'll be able to review an order's delivery window on the offer card before you claim the order. 

The delivery window that the member selects may not always have the exact timeframe that the shopper sees on the offer card. The offer delivery window is the time that Shipt has determined is optimal for delivery based on several factors, including shopper availability. As always, shoppers should aim to deliver within the delivery window listed on the offer card. If a customer reaches out with questions about when their order will arrive, experienced shoppers recommend kindly letting them know the delivery window that you’ll be delivering within, and keeping them updated on your ETA.


FAQs

How will bonuses work for delivery windows that don’t fall on the 1-hour mark?

  • As long as the beginning of the delivery window is within the bonus timeframe, the order will count towards it. For example, if a bonus is available for orders with delivery windows between 3-4 p.m., an order with a 3:30-4:30 p.m. delivery window would qualify, but a 2:30-3:30 p.m. order would not.

Can I deliver any time within the window that the customer selects?

  • Shoppers should always aim to complete orders within the delivery window on the offer card, regardless of what the member selects at checkout. 


How will I know if a customer pays an additional fee for priority or express delivery?

  • At this time, orders that have priority or express delivery will not be labeled in the shopper app. However, Shipt will continue to offer promo pay for orders that are at risk of being delivered outside of their delivery window. In order to maintain positive shopper stats, shoppers should aim to deliver every order within the delivery window listed on the offer card.
