Delivering from Hibbett Sports

Below is some helpful information for shoppers to know about delivering from Hibbett Sports. 



When should shoppers arrive?

Shoppers should arrive at the store 15 minutes before the delivery window begins—this will ensure shoppers have time to walk inside to pick up the order and get to the customer’s delivery address on time. To determine the amount of time required for pickup and delivery, shoppers should check the drive time to and from the store.



How do shoppers pick up orders from Hibbett Sports?

Shoppers should park close to the entrance of the store and tap Arrived at store in the app. If the store is located in a mall, consider checking a map to locate the nearest entrance close to Hibbett Sports. 

Once in the store, shoppers should locate a "Coach on Duty," let them know they are picking up an order for Shipt delivery, and provide the order number, customer’s name, and delivery address.

Once shoppers have received the order from the store associate, they can tap Mark as picked up in the app prior to leaving the store.



When should I communicate with Hibbett Sports customers?

Top shoppers recommend texting the customer when you're on the way to deliver the order - this is a great way to provide excellent customer service and ensure they are prepared to accept the delivery. Shoppers will not be prompted to send an On The Way text, so consider using the pre-formatted on the way text or craft your own:

"Hi ______, I've just picked up your order from _______, and I'm on my way to deliver your order!"



What should shoppers do with the receipt?

Receipts for Delivery Only orders should be passed on to the customer since they are ordering directly from the retailer and not through Shipt. Shoppers may place the receipt in one of the bags if it is handed to them at pickup.



Is a signature required?

Yes, a signature is required for all Hibbett Sports deliveries. Once you’ve arrived with the order, have the member sign the in-app prompt and then mark the order as delivered in the app.



What do shoppers do if the customer isn't home?

If the customer is not at the delivery address upon arrival, shoppers should try reaching them by text and call. If the customer is still unresponsive after 10 minutes,  shoppers should return the order to the store and contact Shipt HQ. When returning an order to the store, it is recommended to get the name of the store associate you return the order to in case there are any questions about that order later on.   

Hibbett Sports Delivery Only orders require a signature; therefore, they should not be left on the porch.



What should shoppers do if a customer has a problem with their order?

Shoppers may politely direct the customer to contact Hibbett Sports if faced with questions about their order.
