Why do you need my insurance information?

Since shoppers with Shipt use their personal vehicles when shopping, we are required to ensure proof of auto insurance on shopper vehicles that meets or exceeds state minimum requirements.

Do you have any recommended insurance companies?

Shipt requires that all shoppers maintain an up-to-date auto insurance policy according to their State laws. Because of this, we are not at liberty to recommend a specific insurance company.

Can I drive someone else's car while shopping with Shipt?

You do not have to own the car you drive while shopping with Shipt. However, you do have to be insured on the policy that covers that car. If you are not an insured driver on the policy for a car, you cannot use that car while working with Shipt.
