What should I do if I am running late?
If you are going to be late delivering an order you're already shopping, contact both Shipt Support and the member to inform them of the delay. To help minimize the impact on your Shopper rating, a best practice is to let the member know you are running late and provide your updated estimated time of arrival.
If know you will be late to start shopping for an upcoming order and unable to ensure on-time delivery, you may drop the order ahead of time to prevent a late delivery. To learn how to drop an order, click here.
A best practice is to aim to deliver within the first 15 minutes of the delivery window. During peak shopping or drive times, consider arriving at the store early to start shopping in case you become delayed by traffic, additional items, or checkout lines.
