Have you been looking for an easy way to give back this holiday season? We’re excited to announce a new volunteering opportunity with Lemontree, a nonprofit that connects hungry people to free food.
Most people don’t access the free food available to them. In fact, 77% of people experiencing food insecurity don’t take advantage of these crucial resources. Lemontree’s text message helpline makes it easy for our neighbors in need to access the resources they deserve–and they need your help!
Lemontree volunteers change what dinner time looks like for their neighbors, and every service hour can be the difference between an empty plate & a full stomach. Plus, it’s 100% virtual, easy, and super rewarding!
The top 2 metros that log the most volunteer hours, or have the highest participation amongst shoppers will win a celebration in their metro in January!
