Understanding the Order Details Screen

Once an order has been claimed, a pop up will allow shoppers to review the order immediately from the Order Details screen. If shoppers dismiss the notification, they can review and access the Order Details screen later from the My Orders screen.

The Order details screen is where you can review an order's information, including locations, time estimates, and the items you will be shopping for in the store. You will also be able to complete actions and send preformatted texts from the Order Details screen as you progress throughout the order.
*Note: Information that displays on the Order Details screen may vary based on service and order type.

Many shoppers find success by reviewing their claimed orders before they start shopping to familiarize themselves with the order to minimize surprises and start to plan a route in the store.

(Review the following labeled screen and corresponding descriptions below)

1. Store & delivery window: This shows the store the order should be shopped at and the delivery window the customer selected to have their order delivered during.

2. Customer information: This shows the name of the customer who placed the order and the location where you will deliver the order. Message and call icons also display so you can easily contact the customer.

3. Labels: Labels identify important details about each order, such as service type and order specifics. You can tap on this section to access more details about each label.
*Note: If this section does not display, it is a Shop & Deliver order with no specific order callouts.

4. Delivery Address: This shows you the customer's delivery address. You can tap the icon to the right to open the address in your GPS app.

5. Delivery Information: This information will tell you more about the delivery address including the property type and any gate or call box code you made need to complete delivery.

6. Order notes: If customers leave notes about their order, such as additional details for their order or delivery instructions, they will appear here.

7. Time estimates: To help you plan ahead, time estimates such as shop time and delivery time are provided. Tap the arrow to review the estimates. Keep in mind, estimations may change if the order is altered.

8. Member notes: Select this option to leave a note about the member, their address, order preferences, etc. These will only be accessible to you and not able to be seen by the member or other shoppers. The next time the member's order is offered to you, the notes will appear for you to reference.

9. General Preference:  This shows if the customer wants to be contacted for out-of-stock items and will determine what options display as you mark items as not found.

10. Item Preferences: Customers can select a backup item or opt-out of substituting a specific item in case it is out of stock when their order is being shopped.

11. Shopping list: This is where you will shop for the items the customer requested. You can review the shopping list prior to shopping; The customer will not be notified you've started shopping until after you scan the first item.

12. Order progress: This section shows the steps to complete the order, and the status will automatically update and provide corresponding details as you complete each step. You can tap addresses to open your phone's mapping app and get directions to the location.

13. Member's preferred store: This section lets you know that the store listed on the order is the member's preferred store location.* Shopping the order at this location improves the chances that items will be in stock, can reduce your chances of delivering wrong items, and potentially improve your rating.
*Note: At this time, members are only able to select their preferred Target location.

Order #: This is the number you will need to reference when contacting Shipt Support for assistance with an order.

Text prompts: You will see text prompts on the bottom left of the Order Details screen during certain steps throughout the shop, enabling you to utilize preformatted messages when you're ready to send the introduction text before you start shopping or a status text when you've checked out and are headed to deliver.

Order actions: You will see new actions appear at the bottom of the screen for each step of the Order Progress section, including indicating when you are headed to the store, ready to shop or process an order, have arrived at the delivery location, and have delivered the order successfully.* It is important for shoppers to submit these actions at the right time throughout the order. You can also process an order by initiating the checkout process from the Cart after you've finished shopping.
