Below is some helpful information for shoppers to know about delivering from Meijer. These orders will be for delivery from one Meijer store location to another, not to a customer. This is only available in the Detroit metro.

When should shoppers arrive?

Shoppers should arrive at the store 15 minutes before the delivery window begins—this will ensure shoppers have time to have the order packed into their car by a store associate and get to the receiving store's delivery address on time. To determine the amount of time required for pickup and delivery, shoppers should check the drive time to and from the store.

How do shoppers pick up orders from Meijer?

Shoppers should park in one of the designated curbside parking spaces and select Arrived at store in the app. 

Shoppers will then need to call the phone number provided on the sign in the parking space and tell the associate the Shipt order number, the customer's name, and the information from the “packages from Meijer” field in the app that contains the Meijer order number to the store associate. 

Once shoppers have received the order from the store associate, they should select Mark as picked up in the app prior to leaving the store.

Do shoppers need to load the groceries into their car?

No. A store associate will load the groceries into the shopper’s vehicle. However, shoppers should consider placing any cold or frozen items in a cooler or insulated grocery bag.

What do shoppers do when arriving at the store for delivery?

When shoppers arrive at the store for delivery, they will park in a designated curbside parking space and call the number listed on the curbside sign. Shoppers will then need to give the Shipt order number, the customer's name, and the information from the “packages from Meijer” field in the app that contains the Meijer order number to the store associate and let them know that the order is from another Meijer store. The associate will then retrieve the merchandise from the shopper to complete the order. Once the associate has accepted the order, shoppers will Mark as delivered in the app. There is no need to go inside the store.
